Decorative laser cut acrylic piece for McMaster Engineering Donors

I conceptualized, designed, and manufactured an acrylic memento to celebrate two long-time donors of McMaster Engineering. Check out my process in the video below.

Purpose

This memento was created to celebrate Doug and June Barber's 80th birthdays, and to celebrate the great contributions to McMaster Engineering student experience. We decided a student-created object would be a great gift.

Design Process

I created this object in Adobe Illustrator and then imported it into proprietary software for laser cutting. My full design process can be viewed in the video below.
